This page will give you an overview of how to use
the latest version of Weather Pilot. |
 |
The first screen you will see is the Add Station IATA/ICAO screen. From this dialog
you can put in a space delimited list of IATA or ICAOs and press the Add button. Pressing the Cancel button
exits out of the dialog. These IATA and ICAO identifiers are for airport and weather observation stations.
|
 |
As mentioned before you can type one IATA/ICAO identifier or
several of them. If you are putting in a list of identifiers then they
need to be separated by a space. |
 |
Once you have added a new set of stations the stations
are placed at the top of the screen and the latest METAR observation and
TAF forecast for the station is obtained. |
 |
You will also notice that the station identifier is a button that can be
clicked. Doing so will cause a menu to appear giving a listing of options
available for the station. If the station has location information available
for display then the Information
and Show Map menu options will be available. Finally, a Remove
option is available to take the station off of the screen. |
